CMEN GET THE FIRST WHITEWASH!!
middy a 3-9 legion
loggers 9-3 hampton
cmen 12-0 mission impottables
middy b 7-5 monty b
llanerch 5-7 ridge aa
dog 3-9 monty a
the cmen got the first 12-0 of the season last week against a struggling mission impottables team. this leaves the cmen 1 point behind top but with a game in hand, which could see them go a few point clear!!
the loggers played the hampton, and even tho hampton drafted in a few star players they couldnt topple the loggers in the log, and the loggers walked away 9-3 winners which keeps them in touch with the top and a good 6 points clear of the mid table battle.
the legion were looking for a big win away to the middy a, and which some class shots from Jan the legion won 9-3.
the AAs seem to be having a good season so far and are in touch with the top teams so a good result away to the llanerch could have seen them 2nd or even 1st but a win of 7-5 gives them 3rd this week but only 6 points from the top they could be up the top for a lot longer!!
the dog played the league leaders Monty As but with the team captian gone, even tho lee lello had to replace some of his strongest players they still walked away 9-3 winners.
GOOD LUCK next week in the Laughing Dog cup.
draw will be online soon, team captians have been told where they are playing, so please contact your team captian for your fixtures for the cup!!

Jarvis Suffers Dry Spell.
Belle Ends 7-4 laughin dogs
Top guns 2-9 strokers
Thongs 4-7 stick men
100 house p-p white horses
Tupp enders 8-3 attacks
Puppies 6-5 a-team
This week saw league leaders the Belle Enders play host to last years winners the Laughing Dog. With the Enders starting the evening with a handy 3 point lead, The Dog needed a good performance. After last weeks practice run to Llanwrtyd, the away team ground out a satisfactory 7-4 win in familiar surroundings, leaving them 2nd, above the Belle Vue team on bonus points alone.
While 1st played 2nd in Llanwrtyd, the Erwood Strokers took their chance to leap frog 2 teams into 1st place. Despite an outstanding 7-Baller from Lee Lello versus Wayne Jones in the 2nd frame, the Strokers romped home 9-2 winners over the Top Guns. The Guns have so far failed to fire this season, typified by Captain Lee Jarvis’ consistent, yet sad, 6 losses out of 6.
Meanwhile over in the Fountain, the Thong Spotters slipped to a disastrous start losing the first 5 frames at home to the Stick Men. The Thongers though showed real grit to claim 4 out of 5 in the 2nd session, leaving it to Charlie Morris to hold her nerve and get the Stick Men over the line in a tight 7-4 away win.
Down in the 7 Stars however, the Tupp Enders continued their impressive start to the season, moving into 4th place after a comprehensive 8-3 home win over the White Hart Attacks. This week the Attacks travel to Erwood where they will aim to kick start their season with a good performance against the league leaders. Phil Quimsnatch makes his full debut for the Attacks.
In the Greyhound Lynn Knott’s team just edged a thriller this week when they beat the visiting A-Team 6-5, moving the Puppies upto 5th place.
The match between 100 House Inn and the White Horses is postponed until Sunday evening.
See you next week. . .

builth week 2 results |

strokers 7-4 tuppenders
Stick men 8-3 topguns
a-team 7-4 100 house
white horse 3-8 bellends
laughin dogs 8-3 spotters
The Bell Enders continued their fine start to the season this week, following up their 11-0 win last week with a useful 8-3 win away to the White Horses. This leaves the Enders setting the pace 3 points clear at the top, while the Horses must crack the whip next week as they look to climb the table when they travel to the 100 House Inn.
This week Laughing Dog captain Leon Griffiths took his team on an inspirational yet premature trip upto Llanwrtyd, before bringing them home to Howey, where they hosted the Thong Spotters. Paul Finch said he loved to ride with the boys, and Leon’s tactics must have worked as the Dog ran out 8-3 winners to leave them 2nd.
While the young 7-Stars Stick Men sent the Top Guns packing by an 8-3 margin, the senior Tupp Enders spent their 2nd week in a row on the road, as they travelled to Erwood. Despite 2/2 from Steve Morgan & Richard Davies, the Strokers slipped it home to win 7-4, leaving them 3rd in the table.
Meanwhile in the White Hart, the Attacks entertained the Puppies, who strutted their stuff running out 8-3 winners. The Attacks remain level on points with the Top Guns, who are enduring a similarly disappointing start to the season.
Down in the Fountain, the newly formed A-Team picked up their virgin league win, when they beat the 100 House Inn 7-4, hoisting the A-Team upto 9th.
Next week sees 2nd play 3rd when the Laughing Dogs travel upto the Belle Vue. The Enders plan to bolster their squad with Finnish overseas signing Katcha Kuku, and Dutchman Loos Brownau.

11 Loggers VS Mission Impot'le 2 1
3 Llanerch VS Monty A 9
11 Ridge C-Men VS Middleton A 1
1 Monty B VS Ridgebourne AA 11
3 Laughing Dog VS Legion 9
4 Hampton VS Middleton B 8
the lead at the top was cut to 5 points as loggers and the cmen, again get like for like scores with 11-1 wins.
The shock score has to be the loggers 11-1 hammering over the mission boys, although a player down I was expecting a good close match between them. maybe the mission will do same as last year with a bad start but strong 2nd half of the season??
a big win for the ridgebourne aas put them in VERY close contention with the top runners.
The Monty a have made a strong statement at the start of the season that they are looking for the league win this year, with a good 9-3 win over prob the strongest Llanerch side for a good few years. (and not just in numbers)
a strong 9-3 over the laughing dog got the new legion team to a good 5 points ahead of the mid table pack.
both the middy teams seemed to have struggled at the start of this season but with some promising talent in both it will be good see how some of the new players do towards the end of the season.
both losing 11-1 the Monty B and mission impottables are little behind the rest at the bottom of the table but the Monty b have all new players so they will be looking to improve over the season!!

Ridge C men 10-2 Monty B
Hampton 4-8 Ridgebourne AAs
Middleton A 5-7 Laughing Dog
Monty A 9-3 Middleton B
Legion 2-10 Loggers
Mission Impottable 2 2-10 Llanerch
some more big wins last night
a heavy defeat for the new legion team at the hands of the loggers, this will keep the loggers close on the heals of the cmen.
also playing in the legion were the mission 2 boys against the llanerch, the llanerch seem to be a much imroved side from last year, and hammered the mission boys 10-2!
cmen again showed the new teams how to play with a 10-2 drumming over the monty B.
the new hampton team lost to the ridge AA even after signing on paul robinson and justin bishop, so the ridge AA will be looking for some big results over the next few weeks to keep in touch with the big teams at the top of the league.
the laughing dog got there 2nd win of the season, and have stamped there place on top of the mid tables group!
the monty A got a nice win over the new middy b teams with a score line of 9-3, couple of new signings for the monty a after paul robinson moved to the hampton team. this win has put the monty a on top of the tables with 7 points clear, but the loggers and cmen have a game in hand to catch them up!
still some intresting results coming in so GOOD LUCK ALL

week 2 llandod |
 |
llanerch 5-7 legion
Loggers 11-1 middy A
Ridge AA 4-8 Monty A
Monty b 0-8 Hampton
dog 1-11 cmen
Middy B 6-6 mission 2
Well an interesting week
it looks like the cmen are up to there old tricks with a 11-1 win over the new Dog team, luck may have swung their way but experience showed in the end.
but the legion have made their mark with a 11-1 win over the middy A, middy have a couple new players but the experienced ones couldn’t get the new boys through.
In the llanerch saw the home team take on the legion. The llanerch started off all guns blazing finishing the first half 4-2 up!! but Wayne Jones’s inspirational break and finish got the team going and they went on to win the 2nd half 5-1 giving them a 7-5 away victory :) must mention Wayne also break finished his 2nd frame!!! Giving him the lead in the 1st visit league.
ridgeAA played host to the monty A and after last weeks walk over the ridge struggled and lost 8-4 to the young boys although Carl Williams got his first 1 visit clearance for the ridge!!
after last week the mission 2 boys didn’t know if they even have a team but the team pulled through and got a away draw against the middy B, middy b could defo be dark horses this year especially in the singles doubles triples. some very good key players!!
in general looks like the experienced llandod teams are looking strongest but give these new teams a couple of weeks and i expect some upsets!!!
GOOD LUCK

Cmen P-P Loggers
Middy A 9-3 Llanerch
Legion 8-4 Middy B
Mission 3-9 ridge AAs
Monty A 11-1 Hampton
Dog 10-2 Monty B
good start to the season
monty a had a great start taking 11 points from the new hampton team. after finishing last year so well the monty b will looking for some good wins this year to push for league champions!!
the new team from the dog clinced a great win over another new team Monty B. lets hope they can keep it up and push the standard of the league higher.
bottom on the league rivals the llanerch and middy A ended up in favor of the middy a 9-3. its always a intresting battle between these 2 let see how they get on for the rest of the season
the new legion team had a decent start with a 8-4. but the middy b do seem a very strong side who could cause some upsets this year!!!
the mission impottables didnt start off that well with a 9-3 lose to the ridge AAs, after starting with only 3 players the future for the mission impotttables is looking shaky but we are working on getting them some new players to help they get settelted
good luck for the rest of the season everybody
